Product details
The combination of the Lensbaby Composer Pro II and Edge 50 optics makes it quick and easy to achieve the famous miniature effect. Experience the liberating feeling of putting the focus where you want it. Surrounded by a creamy blur, there are no limits to creativity. The design allows for diverse techniques that come very close to freelensing.
The selective focus of this lens combination allows photographers and filmmakers to direct the viewer's eyes specifically to a certain area in the image. In this way, ordinary pictures become unique, whether they are exciting landscapes and street photos, precise close-ups, gentle portraits, funny miniature effects, or appetizing food photos.
If the Composer Pro II is not tilted but aligned straight, the Lensbaby lens system transforms into a classic portrait lens without creative blurring. It offers the fastest and most intuitive way to switch between traditional shots and shots with tilt-shift effect.
The handling of the Lensbaby Composer Pro II and the Edge 50 system is quickly learned due to its intuitive design. Tilting the Composer Pro II allows you to place the focus where you want it. By rotating the Composer Pro II, the focus can be placed in any direction, whether crosswise, oblique, or straight. By stopping down the Edge 50 optics, you can make the sharpening ring wider.
The Composer Pro II's tube and swivel are made of metal, making them highly durable. The advanced focus mechanism ensures smooth and precise handling. You can use the aperture adjustment ring to change the depth of field of the internal iris diaphragm, which consists of 9 blades, from full aperture at f/3.2 with a shallow depth of field to closed at f/22 with a widely extended range of focus.
