Product details

The LH-40PR ball head has a load capacity of 20 kilograms. This is achieved through the large ball diameter of 40 millimeters, which is manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimeters. This allows the ball head to easily move and securely clamp heavy loads. The ball head itself weighs only 630 grams. The base diameter of the ball head is 57 millimeters, and it connects to the tripod via a 3/8-inch photo thread.

A special feature of the PR model is the panoramic plate with a quick-release coupling and integrated locking function. The side lever allows you to set whether the rotating plate has a noticeable stop at 10°, 20°, 36°, or 45°, or can rotate completely without resistance through 360°.

Additional features include the ability to rotate the ball head 360° at its base and at the clamp. The clamp is released via a large ergonomic knob. The clamping resistance can be adjusted variably. There are two notches available for tilts up to 90°. The ball head is equipped with an Arca-Swiss standard clamp and a quick-release plate.

For the metal parts, Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloying components. This corrosion-resistant material is characterized by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of construction steel. All parts are machined from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines, making them significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto does not compromise on quality!

Included in delivery: ball head, quick-release plate, transport bag, tool.
