Tray 1 and 2 support various standard, recycled, or fine paper types as well as glossy paper ranging from 60 to 256 g/m² in formats A3, A4, Executive, JIS-B4, JIS-B5, Letter, Legal, and Ledger (Tabloid). The upper tray 1 can hold up to 200 punched sheets and is equipped with a "Tray Full" sensor. The lower tray 2 can accommodate up to 3200 stapled, punched, or offset stacked sheets. Each stapled set can include up to 50 sheets with 4 stapling positions (5,000 staples). Tray 2 is also equipped with a "Tray Full" sensor. When using a stand-alone finisher model, the standard output capacity is reduced to 100 sheets. The capacity of the lower tray decreases when using the stapling function. The hole punch and offset stacking functions are only supported by tray 2. The 2500-sheet tandem tray or the 2 x 500-sheet tray is required to raise the printer or MFP to the appropriate height for using the finisher.
