This compact adapter has been specifically designed for applications where a reliable availability of EDID must be ensured at all times. It stores and emulates the EDID of a display, allowing signal sources to maintain the signal without interruption or alteration, making it ideal for use with AV/KVM extenders, switches, or splitters. This type of adapter is also used in IP solutions to permanently simulate the connection of a display to the graphics cards of a PC or server for remote control. With a maximum resolution of up to Ultra HD 4K 60Hz (via cloning), including High Dynamic Range and the ability to pass through HDCP 2.2 content, it is suitable for all modern IT and AV applications.

Some computer systems, KVM switches, or digital signage systems may interrupt the transmission of EDID data. Some also lack the ability to pass information directly to the video output of a graphics card. These adapters can be used to quickly and easily clone this information, ensuring that the graphics card has direct access to the correct display data. The cloning process takes less than 10 seconds. It is also possible to use the emulator without cloning display data.
