The USB 3.1 Type C to HDMI converter allows users to expand the functionality of a single USB 3.1 Type C port by connecting and using an HDMI display, a USB SuperSpeed peripheral, and a USB Type C power supply simultaneously with their MacBook, Ultrabook, or laptop. The only requirement is that the computer must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

USB Power Delivery with up to 100 W powers a laptop or Ultrabook. A compatible USB power supply can easily be connected to the USB Type C port of the converter.

With support for resolutions up to 3840x2160p@30Hz, the converter is perfect for use by designers and video editors. Installation is incredibly simple, requiring no drivers. USB Type C features a reversible connector that can be used regardless of the plug orientation.

USB 3.0, USB 3.1, and USB 3.2 PCs, cables, and peripherals are compatible with each other as long as they use USB Type A or USB Type C interfaces. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 support data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 support data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s.
