The adapter allows the user to connect a MacBook or Chromebook to a monitor or TV with an HDMI interface. The connected display can function as both a mirror and an extended desktop of the main screen of your computer.

It is designed for use with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) devices, such as MacBooks, Chromebooks, and other USB-C devices. The video resolution supports up to 4K (30 Hz), 1080p (60 Hz), and 1080i (60 Hz) 3D video. Display modes include primary, extended, and mirrored. It is compatible with Windows 8/10, Mac OS X (including MacBook Pro models from 2016 and later), Chrome OS, and Android. The adapter features plug and play functionality, and the cable length is 14 cm.
