Product details

The Mackie MDB-1A is an active audio adapter specifically designed for use with active instruments such as guitars and basses with active pickups and preamps. This device offers enhanced headroom and distortion-free performance, making it ideal for professional audio applications. The MDB-1A features a 1/4" high-impedance input as well as a thru output with a -20dB pad, allowing for seamless connection to high-level sources. A merge switch turns the thru jack into a second input, which is particularly useful for summing stereo sources into a mono signal. The balanced XLR output is equipped with switches for polarity, low cut, and ground lift to ensure maximum flexibility and control over the audio signal. The MDB-1A is powered by 48V phantom power and boasts a rugged construction designed for professional use.
