With the panoramic head, your camera or lens is rotated around the optical center, the nodal point. This avoids parallax shift between individual shots, which would be very difficult or impossible to correct later.

The system consists of vertical and horizontal rails with millimeter-accurate scales, allowing for precise adjustments in constant angular increments. You can easily set the exact rotation angle (options include 2x180°, 3x120°, 6x60°, 4x90°, or 8x45°) using the rotating plate. The rotation steps can be selected based on the lens used. A spirit level on the head ensures accurate leveling.
