The CT590 S is Midland's new dual-band amateur radio device. It is easy to use, ideal for those who need a basic device but also want multiple functions and features. Robustness and reliability are ensured by the aluminum housing. The CT590 S operates in the VHF frequency range of 144-146 MHz and in the UHF range of 430-440 MHz, and it has 128 memory channels. The high power ensures excellent communication, even over long distances, thanks in part to the 1750 Hz tone for accessing repeater bridges.

The CT590 S features a flashlight, an 87.5-108 MHz FM radio receiver, as well as 50 CTCSS tones and 208 DCS codes, allowing you to create subchannels for communication with a small group of people. Additionally, you can customize your ID (ANI-ID) and send it during transmission (PTT-ID). The LCD display offers three different color backlighting options to choose from, corresponding to various applications (reception, transmission, etc.). The radio can be programmed with the optional PRG-10 software to set and customize various functions such as the number of channels and frequencies.
