Product details

The Miops Smart is the next evolution of the Miops NT, also known as Nerotrigger. It extends the functionality of the Miops NT by allowing operation and programming via a free smartphone app. The intuitive app is available for iOS devices like Apple iPhones and Android devices like Samsung Galaxy smartphones. It also runs on tablet PCs, including Apple iPads. While a compatible camera is connected to the Miops Smart via the included cable, the Miops and smartphone or tablet communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth. Many functions can also be set directly on the Miops Smart itself, eliminating the need for a smartphone.

With the Miops Smart, you can capture images of subjects that human reflexes are too slow to photograph at the right moment, making it perfect for high-speed photography. The Miops Smart reacts to light reflections and sound, triggering the connected camera as soon as it registers a corresponding event. Additionally, you can use the Miops Smart with an ordinary laser pointer to set up a light barrier, which will trigger the camera upon interruption.

Thanks to these features, the Miops Smart can capture images of flashes, bursting balloons, or objects falling into water with fractions of a second precision. The device can trigger the connected camera either directly at the moment of the event or with a delay of up to 999 milliseconds, adjustable to the millisecond. Sensitivity can also be set to an exact percentage.

Moreover, the Miops Smart can be used to take HDR exposure series with up to 7 shots, interval shots for time-lapse image series, and long exposure shots. Lastly, it can function as an ordinary radio trigger for standard single shots, allowing for limitless creativity.
