Integration of Analog Cameras with MxDigitizer
The MxDigitizer allows for easy integration of analog cameras into a MOBOTIX system. The MxDigitizer is a practical accessory box for directly connecting an analog camera to the S15D body (MX-S15D-SEC) as an alternative image source (instead of a digital optical or thermal sensor module). One or two MxDigitizers (or analog cameras) can be connected to one S15D body. The image output format is up to 704 x 525 pixels at a maximum of 25 frames per second. The analog camera is connected directly to the MxDigitizer via its own cable using a BNC connector, while the connection of the MxDigitizer to the S15D body is made via a MOBOTIX sensor cable (available separately, max. length 3 m).

MxDigitizer brings the analog camera into the intelligent IP video world
The MxDigitizer not only converts the analog signal into a digital one. The analog camera becomes the video sensor of a MOBOTIX S15D camera. This enables decentralized functions such as MxActivitySensor, storage on the camera, and the event logic known from MOBOTIX to be available. MxDigitizer supports the simple and cost-effective migration of analog cameras into a new, modern, and decentralized IP video system.
