The MX Input Box is a peripheral device for the camera that connects and is powered directly via MxBus, providing six galvanically isolated, self-powered inputs. Communication over MxBus is encrypted. The box is weatherproof (IP65, -30 to +60 °C) and particularly compact (maximum width: 8.7 cm). It allows for easy and quick camera connection via a two-wire MxBus line of up to 50 m in length. The camera sensor capabilities can be flexibly expanded by connecting up to 6 external sensors per box (e.g., window and door contacts, light barriers, etc.). The length of the leads for the external sensors can be up to 50 m. Voltage range is 0 to 48 VAC/DC. The box can be securely mounted in the wall holder of the M1x, M2x, D1x, and D2x.
