This compact Nikkor Z lens will make you question everything you thought you knew about full-frame zoom lenses. As the smallest and lightest full-frame zoom lens on the market, the Nikkor Z 24-50mm makes terms like unwieldy and heavy a thing of the past. Small and sharp, it captures life as you see it. Everywhere. This Nikkor Z lens is built for the moment. It's comfortable to carry at all times, and the retractable mechanism without a locking button is quick and easy to operate. Simply turn the zoom ring to extend or retract the lens.
Expansive landscapes and atmospheric indoor shots. Captivating portraits and spontaneous street photography. With such a versatile zoom lens, hardly any subject remains hidden. And no place is out of reach, small and quiet as it is. Thanks to the Z-mount, which allows a significant amount of light to reach the sensor, photos and videos are wonderfully sharp and evenly illuminated across the entire frame. Advanced Nikon lens technologies minimize distortion at the edges of the image, which can occur with wide-angle shots—resulting in exceptionally clear images.

Source: GalaxusThe combination of simple mechanics and solid optics earns the Nikon Nikkor Z 4-6.3/24-50 mm a close "very good".
The affordable full-frame standard zoom is a good complement to the compact NikonZ5. A real price tip.
... In total, all three measured focal lengths of the Nikon Nikkor Z 4-6.3/24-50 mm are well usable, but at 50 mm you should not stop down much. The autofocus works fast throughout. The twin zoom is not fast, but it is recommended.
