Brings you closer to your subject. The Z-Teleconverter TC-2.0x doubles the reach of compatible Nikkor Z lenses without being heavy in your bag. Capture fantastic subjects that were previously out of reach. All with the premium image quality and high focusing speed you expect from the Nikon Z system. Image crops with the highest detail fidelity. The Z-Teleconverter TC-2.0x extends the focal length of Nikkor Z lenses for mirrorless cameras by 100%. Ideal for sports and wildlife photography when you don't want to carry a second lens. When shooting with the TC-2.0x attached, the minimum focusing distance remains unchanged. Excellent Nikon Z image quality. Doubled reach. Nikon's advanced design ensures sharp, high-resolution images with only a two-stop reduction in light intensity. Outstanding autofocus. Unmatched image stabilization. Even with the Z-Teleconverter TC-2.0x attached, you benefit from the sharpness and speed you expect from Nikon Z. This teleconverter is sealed to keep dust and moisture out. Nikon's fluorine coating effectively prevents dust and dirt from sticking—without any compromise in imaging performance. This teleconverter, made from durable, textured, and anodized aluminum, works seamlessly with your Nikon Z camera and Nikkor Z lens. With the expansion of the Nikkor Z lens lineup, you have more and more opportunities to use the Z-Teleconverter TC-2.0x. Turn a telephoto zoom lens into a super telephoto lens. You can increase the reach of a prime lens without compromising imaging performance. Whatever you use to capture the world, the opportunities for using the Z-Teleconverter TC-2.0x are increasing.

Key specifications

Converter type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
