This successful combination of automatic basic function and manual locking gives the user optimal control over the fixation of the valuable camera. Additionally, a safety pin prevents accidental slipping in any conceivable direction. Furthermore, the tripod plate features an integrated bubble level and can be screwed on and through, making it usable on components with internal threads as well. Various interchangeable plates (Q=PLATEs) in different designs are available for the Q=BASE II quick coupling.
