This handy telephoto zoom lens, with a focal length equivalent to 70-200 mm (35mm format), pairs particularly well with the compact DSLM cameras of the LUMIX GM series, for which it is designed in either silver or black metal.

With its focal length range, the telezoom is suitable for snapshot and portrait photography as well as for bridging larger distances, whether in architectural or nature photography. The optical construction of the LUMIX G Vario 4.0-5.6/35-100mm ASPH./O.I.S. consists of 12 lenses in 9 groups. It delivers consistently high contrast across the entire image field and high resolution throughout the zoom range. Two ED glass elements minimize unwanted chromatic aberrations. An aspherical lens helps maintain high optical performance while significantly reducing the overall size of the lens. Multi-coated lenses prevent unwanted reflections or ghosting.

The interior focusing driven by a stepping motor ensures fast and precise focusing for both photo and video in collaboration with the contrast AF system of the LUMIX G models. The O.I.S. image stabilizer effectively protects against camera shake, even at high magnification in telephoto and close-up ranges.

Seven aperture blades create an almost circular opening, resulting in a beautiful, soft bokeh in out-of-focus areas, especially at larger aperture settings. A robust metal bayonet provides a precise and secure connection to all Micro Four Thirds cameras.
