Information on memory configurationOur memory team will be happy to assist you in choosing the right memory and configuring your server.The following technical conditions should be considered in advance:- There are 12 memory slots, divided into 6 memory channels- MacPro7.1 with 24-core and 28-core CPU support up to 12 x 128GB= 1.5TB RAM- You can use RDIMM memory or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is particularly recommended when large memory capacities are to be achieved - Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. When upgrading, you should therefore know which memories are already available or upgrade completely to RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.- Higher memory frequencies may adapt to other memory clocks in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
