Product details

As a cabaret-style performer, Anton Kuh (1890-1941) made a name for himself in Vienna and Berlin after World War I. He was a passionate advocate for democracy and pacifism, warning as early as the middle of the decade about the rising Nazis. This volume, published in 1931, gathers the author's sharpest and most feared aphorisms and sayings from the 1920s. In 1938, Anton Kuh emigrated to the USA, where he died in New York in 1941. This is a reprint of the original edition published in Munich in 1931.
