Product details

Inspired by Alex Ellis' Raspberry Pi Zero Docker Cluster, this board was designed for him to use as a status indicator. It features eight APA102 LED pixels in the smallest form factor. The board comes fully assembled and can be directly plugged into your Raspberry Pi 3/2/B+/A+/Zero.

The color value and brightness of each pixel are individually controllable, allowing for quick creation of animations and color gradients, or you can make it blink wildly. The data and clock lines are connected to GPIO #23 and #24, but for simplicity, you can also use a Python library to control the LEDs.

Be careful when connecting your Blinkt! It is oriented correctly when the rounded corners face outward and align with the corners of your Pi.

Delivered in fully assembled condition.
