PrimaCreator FlexPlate - Powder-Coated PEI

The new powder-coated FlexPlate from PrimaCreator consists of three parts. The first is the magnetic surface that attaches to the print bed. The second and third parts are the high-quality spring steel sheet coated with a plate made of premium PEI Ultem. The powder-coated PEI FlexPlate is the perfect surface for printing; it is very durable and easy to handle. The best part is that your prints can be easily removed thanks to the flexible plate. A slight bend is all it takes for the print to release.

The powder-coated PEI FlexPlate is based on a ferrite core, which is significantly more heat-resistant than neodymium magnets. This FlexPlate can easily withstand temperatures up to 130 °C, making it suitable for use with ABS. PrimaCreator's PEI Ultem (Polyetherimid) is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free build surface for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold), but also works excellently with other materials like metal, wood, PETG, ABS+, and many more. You do not need any additional adhesives like glue or tape. PEI is attractive because it does not require surface treatment and is therefore easy to work with. Additionally, no support structures are needed for printing on PEI, as the parts adhere directly to the surface without any issues.

How to use: Unpack your FlexPlate, attach the magnetic surface to your print bed, and then place the spring steel plate with the attached PEI on the magnetic surface. Remove the protective film from the PEI and re-level your print bed. Now you can start printing. The parts should almost effortlessly release from the surface. PLA does not require heat, but warming the heated bed to 45 °C helps. You do not need any adhesive, but if you want to print something large or long-term, we recommend the PrimaFix adhesive.
