PrimaSelect NylonPower Glass Fibre Reinforced – The latest generation of high-performance filament for your 3D printer. PrimaSelect NylonPower Glass Fibre Reinforced belongs to the newest generation of high-performance filament for your 3D printer. The material is based on Nylon 12 and is reinforced with 20% glass fibre. This composition results in an optimally resilient filament. Glass fibre reinforced nylon filament is perfect for the additive manufacturing of components for the automotive industry, drone construction, and RC parts.

The key material properties of NylonPower carbon fibre reinforced PA12 include high chemical and thermal resistance, excellent surface quality, minimised warping compared to conventional nylon, and ease of processing. 3D prints very strong parts from NylonPower and glass fibres.

PrimaSelect NylonPower Glass Fibre is an extremely useful material with very unique material properties. In this filament, the nylon is reinforced with small, chopped glass fibre strands. This provides you with PrimaSelect NylonPower glass fibre filament that offers incredible stiffness, structure, and excellent layer adhesion.

Processing the NylonPower filament with glass fibre is straightforward. Furthermore, NylonPower is very easy to process and has a matte finish. The finished 3D prints are very stiff, rigid, and ideal when you need an object with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. Use a heated print bed – set to 60 °C – for processing PrimaSelect NylonPower glass fibre filament to achieve good adhesion of the first layer to the build platform.

Process NylonPower glass fibre with a steel nozzle. Due to the highly abrasive properties of PrimaSelect NylonPower, we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle for this filament. Using a standard brass nozzle is not an issue.
