The only difference is the language. This product is the English version. The article 5998126 is the German one.

No, I was not connecting anything but the Arduino board. Got a replacement board, as presumably the Arduino Uno
is faulty..
You can power the Arduino Board over the USB socket so you just need a old phonecharger / powerbank or something simular whit USB output to power the Arduino directly whit the included USB cable.
