Can this work to connect any HDMI output to the APPLE STUDIO DISPLAY? ---> YES! Here is the guy that show how it is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt2HweRfG9I&t=979s Of course there is no audio, but you can always connect the Optical audio interface to any compatible speaker Hope it helps, it took me awhile to find the right simple setup.

Hello, I have an HP G5 Universal Docking Station and would like to use its various connection options, as well as the image and sound transmission to three monitors to connect my HP notebook with this adapter (Club 3D HDMI to USB Type-C) via the HDMI. the notebook has only one USB C port which the G5 does not recognise. The notebook has the following connections: 1x SuperSpeed USB Type-C 5Gbit/s, 2x SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5gbit/s, 1x HDMI 1.4b, 1x AC Smart Pin and 1x headphone/microphone combined. What do you think, would this connection path work so that all remaining connections go via the G5 dock? Thanks for your help

According to the manufacturer, the use of this adapter only allows you to connect a monitor that supports up to 4K @60Hz resolution according to the DP 1.2 specification, so the usage scenario you mentioned is not possible.

Hello all, Does this thing work to connect an HP docking station with USB-C output to the HDMI port of my Acer Aspire 7 notebook? The notebook has a USB-C output, but it does not recognise the docking station. So my idea is to connect the docking station with the USB-C output to the HDMI port of the laptop via this adapter. Will this work?

No, that does not work. The USB-C output on the Acer notebook is only suitable for data transfers, it does not provide any image information. There are docking solutions that use DisplayLink technology, which means that screens can also be controlled via USB 3.0. A docking station that supports USB-A should then be able to do this.

Hi. I have an Icy docking station but, among other things, a laptop without a usb c connection. Is it correct that I can at least connect the two monitors with this adapter? What about the dongles on the docking station (headset and keyboard/mouse)? Will they also work via this adapter or do I have to reconnect them every time? Btw. I know that power & lan are not transmitted. Thanks a lot for your help!

Hello I have a hp laptop without a docking station. And also no usb-c connection. I had tested several variants to connect 2 monitors. Finally it worked with the following adapter: Club 3D USB A to HDMI 2.0 Dual Monitor 4K 60Hz Adapter Hope this answer helps you a little.
