Yes, since the Fitbit Sense 2 (version 2) has been available, the Fitbit Sense is often referred to as Fitbit Sense 1 (version 1).
Unfortunately, we cannot say this with 100% certainty. It depends on whether the code has been redeemed before or not. I would therefore recommend that you opt for a new model.

Hi Brokkker - this also happened to me a few months ago.... unfortunately not repairable and no perks or similar. I had to buy a new one at the original price.... But ask Fitbit support directly - maybe there have been changes in handling.

I have not noticed any additional measurements with Premium, only that some of them are evaluated and documented in more detail. The SPO2 measurement, for example, works just as well without Premium, but you are only shown 5 days instead of 30 and no "personal areas" are shown in the graphs. The oxygen content during sleep is also displayed with and without Premium.

When you buy a Fitbit Sense, you get the premium subscription for half a year for free. The stress management function via EDA and the ECG works. You can enter the thresholds (min/max) and it notifies you when your heart rate drops above the limits. It also measures your skin temperature overnight etc. I hope I could help you a little bit.
