Hi Harald... I had the same problem... The touch came off the circuit board and I could no longer use the watch. My colleague ordered a completely new case and rebuilt the inside of the watch. The cost of the new case was CHF 20. Previously had a silver case, but have now chosen a black one. Watch like new, and looks even cooler 😉👌🏻 Get in touch if you want to repair yours too 🤗👌🏻

Yes, it works fine. Download the Huawei Health app, connect your phone to it and that's it.
The strap is generally a little darker than shown in the pictures. I would take you a picture but I've had my watch for over a year now and the strap is in the trash because it's defective. I admit it would probably have lasted longer if I had showered with it almost every day and occasionally taken it swimming, but I have now replaced it with a metal bracelet which is of course much more robust simply because of the material. Watch straps can generally be changed quite easily by yourself or you can take the watch to a watchmaker who will put a new strap on it. But I think the darker brown strap felt quite good on the skin and the quality was fine. but it's leather and it's better not to take it swimming. maybe you'll find better photos if you research other sources on Google.

Basically, I find this watch versatile and practical. But I have not yet discovered a calendar function. There are different (many) dials with different indications. Often with date and/or day of the week. But then it has it with the calendar.

Hi, pairing with your Note 10 Plus should work fine, I have a Galaxy S9 and it works perfectly. Regarding the calendar, unfortunately there is none on the watch itself - but you will of course receive calendar notifications on the watch.
Regarding Whatsapp messages: you can read them very well on the watch, the only things that don't work are emojis and voice messages.
Privacy? I think that the watch can't know more than the smartphone.
The watch communicates with the Health app.
The Health app can forward notifications from the Android operating system to the watch. These notifications can be enabled or disabled for each app.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 is currently NOT compatible with Android 10. Huawei Health (necessary for installation) does not work therefore the watch is not possible to install, or with very complex trick : through a Chinese registration on Huawei website etc....

The hands are super easy to see in total darkness. A short movement with the arm and it lights up. This is the best watch I've ever had.
