I would guess that this is only the case with Samsung US.
Hi. With the wireless charging stations, Samsung never supplies a USB cable or power adapter. It is intended that way because when you take the charging station, you no longer need the charger that comes with the phone and you can use that for the station.
Yes, it works great!

I'm afraid that won't work. I always have to centre my S8 very precisely, and despite taking care, it always happens that the S8 was then not charged overnight. Covering it with wood not only adds distance but also makes it difficult to centre it correctly. - You can try it with a test setup (wooden plate), but you have to do it for at least a month, because a single test does not show how sensitive the arrangement is (in terms of positioning).
My Galaxy Watch cannot be charged with this wireless charger. Unfortunately! The watch can only be charged with the corresponding Wireless Charging Dock. I don't think this will be any different with the Gear S3.
Hello. My Galaxy S9 is in a silicone case (back only) and charges without problems. In the shop I have a charging station from another manufacturer (but also QI standard). My S9 also charges there without any problems. I also charge an iPhone 8 there, which is in a synthetic leather case that has 6 button magnets on the back that are about the size of a 5-centimetre button. Even this iPhone charges without problems. So the induction goes between the magnets. So I would argue that the Samsung charging station should work without any problems. The fact that the iPhoneX mentioned above charges slowly may also have to do with the charging adapter connected. For example, the original Apple adapter only has an output of 5V/1.0A, which is not enough for fast-charging and that is probably why it takes so long.
Works perfectly
No, the Huawei Tablet M5 does not have wireless charging.
I think if the S6 is Qi-compatible, there should be no problems here. We have several Samsung smartphones in use and it works without any problems with all of them. Unfortunately, I don't have a Galaxy S6 at hand to test it. Maybe an S6 owner will get in touch. The other option, just try it out. If it doesn't work, you can return the product.
Yes, it is compatible.
I have a Samsung Gear S3 and it won't charge.
No, this also works with a cover
Yes, the smartphone can basically be used relatively well. The charging station is sturdily built. Kind regards.
Covers made of metal/aluminium do not work, I think. Theoretically, Qi can charge through up to 40mm.
With original cover Yes.
According to the data I know, the charger needs around 3 hours for an S8+. My S8 is fully charged in 2:40 hours.

no idea, as i only have the s8
It depends on which cover you use. With the original Samsung cases, this should normally not be a problem.

Since "reconditioned". Enclosed is the new product: Samsung Convertible Wireless Charger (Qi Wireless Charging Station, 1A)
Wireless charging always takes longer than charging via cable. A maximum of 1A can be output, regardless of whether Fast Charge is 9V or Normal Charge 5V. Via cable you charge with Fast Charge with 9V at 1.67A and Normal Charge 5V at 2A.
I don't know the definitive answer, but the product is designed to charge a battery. The effects should therefore be minimal, if any. You would have to make a daily comparison over a period of at least 1-2 years and compare it with a normal charger to find out the corresponding values. Maybe the manufacturer knows more about this topic, it is his product after all.
