hello, your camera has an ef mount, as does the lens. so that fits. the camera has an aps-c sensor, which means a crop factor of 1.6. in terms of focal length, the lens is therefore not like a 150-600 but like a 240-960...

Probably, if you are a PROFI, the lens will not be quite enough for you. I was able to use it during a safari in Namibia in December/January. I am very satisfied with it. In wildlife photography, speed is not necessarily important. Focusing was always enough for me. The thing is just a bit heavy. But for this price, I can recommend it.

I used the Sigma 150-600 Sports on an EOS 80D a few years ago. The autofocus wasn't that great. I then sold the 3kg block and bought the Canon EF 100-400 L IS II. I also used it with the 1.4x Tk. The AF of the 100-400 is worlds faster. I.e. the answer to the question: No, in my opinion it makes no sense at all.

Yes it comes with lens hood. Functional but would probably not survive being dropped, sat upon or knocked against a wall. The lens was good but you get what you pay for. It is not 600 mm prime sharp, but certainly gets you shots that you would not otherwise have had. If it helps. my Sony 200-600 mm is much sharper at the long end.
