Yes, the adapter is only compatible with Canon EF-S mount ! It will not work with EF-M or R mount.
Order and wait or order elsewhere where immediately available. Very simple.
It may or may not work. This is not supported by Canon, Sigma or Panasonic. A gamble. Answers are most likely to be found in the relevant specialist forums.
The 144 Fr. version is for Sigma SA on L-mount. The more expensive version is for Canon EF on L-mount. At least that's what https://www.owy.ch says in this shop, where it is not clearly described, like so many things.

Yup, that's what the adapter is for :) Need it for my Canon EF lenses on my camera with L-mount, runs great, just no AF-C stop.
