The G2 is a lot faster than its predecessor. VR is probably even better.
Yes it is compatible. It is compatible with full frame and ApsC cameras like the D90.

As long as the delivery address is CH or FL, it shouldn't be a problem. At least that's what I assume :)

Is not recommended... because the AF of this lens does not work above f8....
