Do I need a 3.5 mm jack, or can the sound come through the USB port? My computer doesn't have a 3.5 mm jack.

The jack port is necessary. The USB port is for power only.

Are USB cables (for power supply) and 3.5 mm AUX plugs included? If so, how long are the cables?

Yes is included, so to speak 2 connections on one cable and it is approx. 80cm long.

If your Mac has a 3,5 mm AUX-Port, it will work. The speaker is powered via USB. :)

Are the cables permanently connected to the soundbar, or can I also use my own longer cables? Depending on this, I would need an extension cable or an alternative, longer audio cable. Is the USB cable permanently connected to the unit? If not, which USB port is used to power the Soundbar? USB-A, micro USB, mini USB, USB-C?

Yes, the USB cable is permanently connected and measures approx. 1.40 m.
