I took out the manual (also looked at the online manual), but I couldn't find anything about such a function. I can't test it to see if it works, because I don't have a suitable cable.

I have a question about connecting to the device. Is it only possible to connect via Bluetooth from the 3rd generation onwards, as it no longer has a 3.5 jack?
