The SC1468 is a Raspberry Pi AI HAT+, an add-on board with 26 tera operations per second (TOPS) and built-in Hailo AI accelerator for the Raspberry Pi 5. It provides an accessible, cost-effective and energy-efficient way to integrate powerful AI. Discover applications such as process control, security, home automation and robotics. The 26-TOPS variant is capable of running neural networks for applications such as object recognition, semantic and instance segmentation, pose estimation and more. The AI HAT+ communicates via the PCIe Gen 3 interface of the Raspberry Pi 5, and if the host Raspberry Pi 5 is running a current Raspberry Pi OS image, it automatically recognises the integrated Hailo accelerator and makes the NPU available for AI tasks. The built-in rpicam-apps camera applications in Raspberry Pi OS natively support the AI module and automatically use the NPU for compatible post-processing tasks. Note: not suitable for training LLMs.
