The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is a compact camera from Raspberry Pi. It features a 12-megapixel IMX708 sensor with HDR and phase detection autofocus.
There are a total of four different variants of the new Raspberry Pi Camera v3, available as standard or wide-angle versions with or without an infrared filter.
The Camera Module 3 can capture both Full HD videos and still images, and it has an HDR mode with up to 3 megapixels. Operation is fully supported by the libcamera library, including the fast autofocus feature of the Camera Module 3. This makes it easy to use for beginners while offering plenty for advanced users. The size of the board and the mounting holes are the same as those of the Camera Module 2.
