For precise adjustment, this is the best I have had so far. I only use it for architectural shots

Actually a good to very good gear tilt, if he would not still run a little after. Will mean: If I want to photograph eg. the moon and a combo with a Gweicht of about 4 kg. on the gearhead steeply into the sky, he can not hold the selected end position and still runs briefly after, until he then comes to rest. Would be perfect if it would stay still. On lighter combos, on the other hand, I would give this gearhead full marks, because there this lagging is no longer present. I am now not sure whether I should return the Benro GD-3WH or not.

Something of the best I have ever bought. The gear head is extremely stable and can be adjusted very precisely. The Peak Design plates also fit on it. The quick adjustment is very smooth.

For rotation around the vertical axis, a spacer must be used on tripods with a mounting plate (Feisol CT-3442 Rapid or similar) in order to be able to rotate the geared panhead freely.
