Good upgrade for the car
Easy way to upgrade your car stereo to Bluetooth. Simply connect to AUX via 3.5mm, power via a car USB charger and set to Car Mode in the Fiio Control App. Device turns on when car is started and connects quickly to smartphone.

- Optional Car Mode (Turns on as soon as power is supplied)
- Good sound quality (much better than via headphone jack of mobile phone, even if via Bluetooth)
- Nearly all Bluetooth codecs (LDAC, AptX HD, AptX LL, AAC)
- Case with clip for mounting
- Good workmanship

- Pairing can be somewhat flimsy (pairs to my PC while I'm on my phone or vice versa)
good thing
quite honestly my favourite of the BTR line so far (I lost BTR5, passed on BTR7), no fancy displays and 4.4mm jack are excellent compromises in my eyes.

Ok, but battery life is sub-par
It's a very compact device with nice build quality (except for the ugly clip... which doesn't easily break but it is not pretty). I expected the device to be larger... A small device only fits a small battery... which lasts for 4 hours max on bluetooth, which is not even remotely enough for me.
If you only need that thing for a few hours at a time, I can totally recommend it, but if you need it for longer and need it to work reliably, you should look at other devices.Pro
