I reformatted the drive just in case, but no change, when copying files, the transfer rate starts high, then after 10-15 seconds drops, sometimes to zero, for several seconds before picking up, then dropping again after 10-15 seconds.
The result is that the overall transfer rate is nowhere near that of USB 3, just about USB 2.
Disappointed, and don't trust this media too much.

I don't understand why all USB sticks have a misleading read and write rate.
I own several USB sticks with 2.0, 3.0, 3.2, etc.
Regarding this model specifically: The read rate and write rate are TOO values. The reality is 80% slower, and that's definitely not due to my PC or my motherboard connections. For people who only change Powerpoints and Word documents, the stick is more than enough. For anyone else who changes images and videos, I would only recommend this stick if you have above-average stamina.
Since the price is favourable, I'll keep my words to a minimum.
For anyone who really wants to travel fast, I recommend the portable SSD T7 from Samsung. I have also bought other USB sticks for far more, for 30-40 francs and with the same experiences (they are better but once they get hot it looks the same). So it's better to invest more once and you're good to go.

In my search for a USB memory stick with a large data volume, I found this USB stick. It fulfils its purpose, is robustly built and has a simple design, which I really like. The storage volume for a handy USB stick is really great. For even larger amounts of data, you usually have an external hard drive. This USB stick combines a large storage capacity with a small size and better manageability, which is why it is a useful addition, especially if you are travelling a lot.
