Very good tripod head for photo shoots

Good lens head with 3 spirit levels. Comfortable to use for fine adjustment thanks to the dials, even larger adjustments are quick and easy thanks to the "release". Also stable with a heavier full-frame camera with a 600 telephoto zoom, but still quite compact for a 3-way panhead.
Since a longer lever is missing, I consider the head less suitable for video recordings.

    Pro

    • Fine and coarse adjustment
    • Sufficient and accurate dragonflies
    • Stability

    Contra

    • Not necessarily suitable for video

Almost a must, definitely a good investment.

In my opinion, it belongs to every landscape or street photographer. Unfortunately, as almost always with Manfrotto, a little heavy, but extremely stable and very precise. Compatible with the 200Pl plate in many places (I almost exclusively need the 323 quick release and when hiking the Peak Design Capture mount with the Peak Design Dual Plate camera plate which is also compatible with Arca Swiss and Manfrotto RC2).

Excellent for determining and precisely "circling" the desired image section.

Perfectly suited for precise positioning and position adjustment of the camera, e.g. for time-lapse photography and images of still objects (landscapes, panoramas, architecture...)

    Pro

    • Three-dimensional, almost pinpoint control to determine the desired image section
    • Coarse adjustment (in 10° steps) and fine adjustment (gear) can be perfectly combined
    • If you write down all the details, the camera setting can be readjusted later to ± cover.

    Contra

    • Camera adjustment needs patience/time and some practice (worth it)
    • to capture moving objects (e.g. sports, animals), a ball head is faster and better
