Sony PlayStation VR
Simply a dream - I never thought the experience would be so intense and realistic!
Rubbish! I owned the Oculus DK2 and have also had the consumer version cv1 for some time. Playstation VR has virtually no difference to the Oculus Rift. I even find it over-all better than the cv1!
Why?
It sits great on your head (very comfortable), you see less of the "black edge" compared to the Rift, the frames are great.
And best of all.... you can enjoy Resident Evil 7 in January :)
- Price/performance it beats all competitors. Knock out.
- You can hardly see any performance differences to the Rift. Maybe the display is 5% worse than the Rift. But not even that!
I can say that much:
I have a 6k expensive PC with the Rift and a PS with PS VR. Which do I prefer? The PS VR! It's simply better, more fun, more comfortable :)

After the first 4 hours of VR, I am really thrilled. The feeling of being in the middle of things comes across great. Of course, there is still room for improvement in terms of resolution, cabling, etc.. But for the price, the Playstation VR offers a great starter package for experiencing virtual reality.

Product excellent !
but
Digitec delivery to Switzerland came with German Schuco plug. We had to get an adapter over Christmas, which was a
which was a sporting challenge.
furthermore
we had the impression that the packaging had been opened before.
so
Product good - Digitec delivery bad.
High-quality headset, but in terms of performance behind the Oculus or the Vive (no wonder, PC can simply do more). In terms of the options for adjusting the head and wearing comfort, the headset is again in first place.
My first tip for this headset is to use it with a PS4 Pro. For example, Star Trek: Bridge Crew looks massively worse on a conventional PS4, and this is also the case with other games.
Secondly, you should use a decent headset that can play surround sound (e.g. Soundblaster X H5 Tournament Edition), and not the earbuds that come with it. A good microphone is also recommended for games like Bridge Crew (the above mentioned one fulfils the criterion).
Motion sickness (nausea) occurs to varying degrees in games. As long as you are sitting, you feel nothing or very little. But when you are driving a racing car, for example, it becomes more noticeable (not only for me, but also for friends). However, you can get used to it to a certain extent.
In some games, by the way, you can't sit on the couch, you either have to stand or be on a chair where you can manipulate the immediate area. The sofa is often in the way because certain things are in the seat. For this, you may have to move the camera.
You should get two Move controllers if you want to manipulate things with your hands. A PS4 camera is necessary in any case, as it registers the movement of the glasses.
TL,DR: Good, inexpensive VR glasses. PS4 camera required. Optional, but hard to recommend: PS4 Pro instead of PS4. Two Move controllers. Surround headset.
