With wide-angle lenses and converters, some distortion is unavoidable. However, this special wide-angle converter has been designed to be nearly distortion-free, with only -1.3% residual distortion, based on sophisticated calculations and designs. It achieves a high resolution of 350 line pairs per millimeter at the center of the image with an MTF contrast of 30%.

This converter has been specifically developed for high-resolution digital cameras and features three standalone, fully coated lenses made from high-refractive glass types. It is an ideal accessory for professional use as well as for demanding amateurs who need to photograph in tight spaces. With this converter in front of the camera lens, there is no loss of light when changing the set aperture value; the light intensity remains unchanged.
