Do not subject the HDS-680 to hard impacts or extreme cold, heat or moisture.Do not use the built-in flash when the HDS-680 is attached. When using the flash, the converter will shade large parts of the subject.It is possible that remote control functions of the camera may be affected when using the HDS-680. Therefore, it is recommended to check this beforehand with test shots before taking important shots with this converter in conjunction with the remote control of your camera or camcorder.Depending on the camera model used and the shooting conditions, especially when there is insufficient lighting, contrast-reducing haze may degrade the image quality of telephoto shots. With the HDS-680 attached, shots of distant subjects with telephoto focal lengths should only be taken in good light.If you see a white dot when looking into the HDS-680 from the front, do not be alarmed; this is not a fault and will not adversely affect image quality.When the temperature changes rapidly from a cold environment to a warm (and possibly humid) environment, moisture may condense on and inside the converter while it is still cold. If moisture has also condensed inside the converter, store the converter in a dry place until the condensation droplets have evaporated again. If such condensation is repeated often, cloudy fogging may occur over time, negatively affecting image quality (contrast reduction, flat images).Protect the HDS-680 from dust and moisture; it is not dustproof, moistureproof, or waterproof.
