The Rode Blimp is a professional basket windscreen system featuring the Rode Wombat fur windscreen. This basket windscreen system can be used with a variety of shotgun microphones that have a maximum length of 325 mm. The Blimp includes an integrated XLR connection cable and an adjustable angle pistol grip with an XLR socket in the base. The acoustically transparent Dead Wombat fur windscreen is included.

The Rode universal Blimp Mount is a mounting adapter for the Rode Blimp windscreen system. The universal Blimp Mount allows the Blimp to be attached to a 3/8" thread, such as on a boom pole, a light stand, or other mounts with a 3/8" thread. When used with a boom pole and the Blimp basket windscreen, the Blimp Mount replaces the handle of the Blimp, providing greater stability and more comfortable handling of the boom pole.
