The keys of the A-49 have rounded edges for a particularly sensitive response to the playing technique and comfortable glissandi. The already extraordinarily low mechanical noise was further reduced, with special emphasis on a wobbly suspension of the keys. The result is a keyboard that will delight even the most discerning professional.

The A-49 has recessed ports on the back, making it ideal for use in front of a computer monitor. Two controls, two buttons and the D-Beam are intelligently arranged for direct access and perfect workflow. Special octave buttons are available to extend the keyboard range. There is also a transpose button for transposing in semitone steps. LED indicators provide a direct overview of the octave/transposition settings. Other settings are made via the Function button, which can be used to activate other functions printed above the keyboard.
