The wider tension hoop allows for more comfortable and quieter rim shots. The included connection cable links the pad to a sound module. The PDX-8 is mounted on a pad holder on the rack but is also compatible with tom holders and can be attached to acoustic tom stands with a diameter of 9 - 11.5 mm.
