EMI/RFI – Flanged, shielded aluminum die-cast enclosures. RS Pro's shielded aluminum die-cast enclosures are made from a high-quality aluminum alloy with a natural finish and no external coating. The enclosures can withstand temperatures up to 250 °C without affecting the aluminum or the enclosure structure. Mounting flanges are built in for easy installation. Various sizes and wall thicknesses are available.

Mounting:
Enclosure with flange. The flange is located at the bottom of the enclosure and allows for easy wall mounting. The length measurement of the external dimensions includes the flanges. Guides for PCB mounting.

Enclosure/Cover Design:
Untreated aluminum, smooth, no external coating. If you wish to paint, use powder coating. No seal.

Cover Attachment to Base:
The cover is fitted with a lip to ensure it sits firmly against the base. Taper of 1.5° per side cover to the base. Threaded holes for a good fit. Mounting holes outside the interior of the enclosure. Countersunk stainless steel screws M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive secure the cover.

Temperature Resistance:
Up to 250 °C - no impact on material or structure.
