Samyang introduces a new VDSLR MK2 series equipped with weather protection, dual-sided labeled focal lengths, a sleek design, and 9 aperture blades. This groundbreaking series of film lenses, which inherits Samyang's incredible video quality, will help independent filmmakers and low-budget directors expand their creative horizons and is their first film lens.

The VDSLR MK2 set includes 4 of the most commonly used focal lengths: 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, and 85mm T1.5. The new models not only offer the popular image quality and fast T-stop values of the existing VDSLR series but now also feature weather sealing, 9 aperture blades, and the focal lengths are visible on both sides to facilitate professional use. The series is highly versatile and available in 7 camera mounts.

Despite their compact size, the VDSLR MK2 lenses cover full-frame sensors (36x24mm) and are suitable for high-quality video production. This new series inherits the excellent image quality of the previous series: all 4 lenses are equipped with aspherical lens elements to reduce spherical and optical aberrations, producing clear and vibrant images. The 50mm model also features an aspherical hybrid element to maintain its compact size without compromising performance.
