Product details

The high-performance Cinema Prime lens 14mm T3.1 XEEN is suitable for full-frame use, features internal focusing, and is versatile due to its wide angle of view. Like all XEEN Cinema Prime lenses, the XEEN 14mm T3.1 resolves in 4K and has a similar form factor to the other lenses in this line. This means that the housing diameter and the fixed gear ring distance for the aperture and focus rings are exactly the same across all models. This allows for quick and easy lens changes, whether on a rig or a tripod, even with an installed follow-focus system. As is common with cinema lenses, this XEEN lens also features a stepless and clickless aperture with side-readable f-stop values and a distance scale, as well as gears for focusing with a follow focus.

High-quality mechanics and craftsmanship

Of course, the 14mm T3.1 XEEN can be used not only with cameras that have a full-frame sensor. Filming is also no problem with Super 35mm, APS-C, and APS-H camera sensors. The sharpness performance of this lens impresses even at fully opened aperture and can be precisely controlled over the 200° long focus radius.

The lens construction consists of 13 lenses in 12 groups housed in a robust aluminum tube. The necessary adjustments on the follow-focus or aperture ring are, of course, stepless and can be attached to all follow-focus systems with a 0.8 mm gear. The 9 aperture blades of the 14mm Cinema lens create an almost circular bokeh.
