The Spacial SBM industrial enclosures from Schneider Electric are designed for use in industrial machinery and building applications. These wall-mounted enclosures feature a one-piece rectangular body with sewn channels on the front and drilled profiles for the installation of mounting plates and DIN rails on the back. The mounting holes have a diameter of 12.5 mm. The enclosure cover includes a polyurethane gasket and threaded half-screws, with the number varying depending on the version. An M6 x 16 grounding connection bolt is welded into the cover to provide a potential connection for the enclosure.

Features and benefits include 28 different sizes available, with accessories from the expansion box allowing for up to 42 sizes. Depths of 80 mm and 120 mm are available, with or without pre-installed cable entries. The enclosures offer IP66 protection, meaning they are dust-tight and provide protection against strong water jets. They have an external mechanical impact resistance of up to IK10 and can withstand a 5 kg object dropped from a height of 40 cm. Installation can be done with a screwdriver, either directly from the back or using external mounting swing arms. The enclosures are protected inside and out by gray (RAL 7035) painted polyester, offering an attractive and robust design to protect sensitive electronics.
