This device belongs to the Vigilohm series, which is designed for monitoring ungrounded power supplies (IT systems) in accordance with installation and product standards. This insulation fault detection is only possible when connected to the IM400 series, XM300, or XM200. It is intended for monitoring 12 AC, DC, and ACDC inputs up to 1000V with the voltage adapter IFL12VA1T. It measures the insulation resistance and leakage capacitance per circuit. Configuration is done from the front of the device, via the HMI screen, or through the communication interface. The main settings relate to alarm thresholds, channel naming, ring core type (Vigilohm type or other compatible types), and filtering time. For each circuit, it displays an insulation resistance of 100 Ohms to 250 Kiloohms and a leakage capacitance of 1 to 15 microfarads. The autotest starts automatically every 5 hours and as needed. If the insulation resistance falls below the set threshold, an alarm is triggered via the IFL output relay, the HMI, and the communication interface. Once no fault is detected, the alarm is cleared, and the alarm relay returns to its normal state. The device can be powered from a 110VAC to 440VAC source or a 110VDC to 440VDC source, all with a tolerance of plus or minus 15%.
