Preventa XPS universal safety relay. This multifunctional safety relay is designed for a wide range of safety applications, featuring selectable safety functions and start options via a rotary switch on the front, along with diagnostic communication to the PLC. It is suitable for mechanical contacts in emergency stops, position or magnetic switches, safety mats, and electronic PNP/NPN sensors, as well as light curtains or RFID safety switches with OSSD outputs. The selectable start functions include automatic, manual, or monitored start, along with a start-up test. It has one safety circuit (redundant) and allows for the selection of one out of ten safety functions. It features 2S+1Ö safe relay outputs and 1T diagnostics. The clocked output transmits extensive diagnostic data to the PLC with standard input and evaluation via FB. The safety level is PL e, Cat. 4, SIL3. The supply voltage is 24 VAC/DC, and it includes removable spring-loaded terminals and a lateral plug connector for direct connection of contact extension without wiring.
