The Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM allows for easy configuration of safety applications and flexible expansion of the system with modules according to the application. This central unit (CPU) of version 2 is the basic module required for any safety system on machines and installations. The processing of the configured safety application takes place in the CPU. An additional rear bus connector, which must be ordered separately, allows for the connection of expansion modules. Therefore, this CPU order number is particularly suitable for stand-alone applications without planned expansions. The supply voltage is 24 VDC. The module features detachable screw terminals and has a width of 22.5 mm.
